Testimonies

John Peabody was diagnosed with extreme depression and was hospitalized for it from 12-31-08 to 01-12-09. While John was hospitalized, Roger prayed with John’s wife, Jamie, for John’s healing and deliverance. On 01-12-09 John was discharged from the hospital because he was so greatly improved! Roger spoke to John on 02-12-09, and John says he is doing much better. Praise the Lord!

Last Sunday, Judy Elliott requested prayer for healing. She was experiencing sharp pain in the right breast. Roger & Carolyn Flanagan anointed her with oil and commanded healing to her body in Jesus’ Name. She testified today, 02-15-09, that ALL of the pain disappeared, and she is healed. We exalt the Name of Jesus!

02-13-09 Joe Collins (Texas) was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Roger has been working with Joe for about 6 months, praying regularly for healing and sharing many Scriptures with him to build his faith. Joe now says that he is completely healed! He plans to request medical testing within the month for the purpose of giving a substantiated testimony for the Lord’s glory.

On 02-03-09, Carolyn O’Connor had asked for prayer because Mike had done something to damage the gears on his truck at work. Mike was concerned that the repair would be costly, and prove to be embarrassing to him. Roger & Carolyn Flanagan prayed and commanded the truck to be healed. We prayed that Mike’s testimony would not suffer because of this incident. On 02-13-09, Carolyn O’Connor shared that when Mike’s employer began to repair the truck, they found that it was a simple and inexpensive repair! Mike didn’t suffer any loss of credibility.

On 02-08-09, Phyllis Zerbe came to church in excruciating pain from her right shoulder. She thinks she may have slept wrong on it and injured it again. (The Lord had healed this shoulder on 01-18-09.) She asked for prayer. Roger & Carolyn prayed as the Holy Spirit led them, and commanded healing in Jesus’ Name. Phyllis testified near the end of the worship service that she was completely healed. She lifted her right arm straight up in the air to demonstrate it! All glory to Jesus!

Roger visited Lakewood Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center in Plainfield, IL on 01-28-09. A gentleman who normally walks with a walker, asked for prayer, so that he could walk without the walker. Roger and the lady who invited him to minister at the nursing home commanded this man to be healed in Jesus’ Name; and the man jumped up and began walking all around the area. The man said he felt strong, and he was rejoicing over the immediate change in his condition. Hallelujah!

A member of our church has been making daily Scripture confessions of Biblical prosperity for several weeks. On 01-26-2009, she received a refund from their tax and insurance escrow account of a little over $600! Thank the Lord!

Bob Burkhardt had depression, blood clots, arthritis, bulging discs in his back, urinary tract infection, and suffered with type-2 diabetes when Roger began praying with him a couple of months ago. On 01-28-2009, he gave a testimony that things are greatly improved; he feels better; and he’s no longer depressed. The Lord has brought him business to ease his financial burdens. We exalt the Name of Jesus!

Irina Nelson had been diagnosed with a cyst on her right ovary. We prayed with her for complete healing several weeks ago, and she testified on Sunday, 01-18-2009, that the doctors had tested her, and both ovaries are now healthy! Praise God!

On Sunday, 01-18-09, Phyllis Zerbe requested prayer for her right shoulder. She had injured it in a fall about 10-days ago. About 7 or 8 of our members gathered around her and prayed for healing, commanding the connective tissue, ligaments, and muscles to be healthy and strong. We rebuked the spirit of trauma and commanded her to be healed in Jesus’ Name. Phyllis was immediately able to lift her right arm all the way without pain!! Hallelujah!
